ATTENTION ALL ADOPTEES: An Opportunity to be in the Film

PURPOSE

We are seeking domestic and international adoptees who are open to participating in a very brief, filmed interview for this upcoming film.

These interviews will ultimately form a mosaic of voices: short, honest moments that capture adoptees’ lived experiences in their own words. Each participant will be asked one question on camera. This question will not be shared in advance, as the intention is to capture a genuine, unscripted emotional response.

What to Expect

  • Initial intake to confirm adoptee status and ensure the project is a good fit

  • Coordination and planning for the interview (location, date, and time)

  • Release form signed prior to filming

  • Interview length: no more than 30 minutes

  • A calm, respectful interview environment with care taken to support participants throughout the process

While participants are never pressured to answer in a specific way, the question may be emotionally triggering. We encourage you to participate only if you feel comfortable engaging with potentially sensitive material. You are always free to pause, stop, or decline to answer at any point.
