Executive Producer Campaign Commitment - Brian Stanton
Hey all! Brian Stanton here. I’m a writer, actor, and adoptee whose work has explored the grief, loss, identity, and unresolved complexity at the heart of the adoption experience. After a decade of performing my award-winning solo play BLANK, my 2nd original solo play @ghostkingdom was adapted into a motion picture after COVID prevented its Off-Broadway premiere at Theatre Row in New York. I know what it’s like to adapt personal stories into both live theatre and film, especially the business side of raising funds to make it happen. I’m here to help Jonathan Moon with that!
When I say this story matters, I mean it personally. I know the significance in telling our stories, no matter the medium, and I’m honored and thrilled to support Jonathan in this endeavor.
I love how Moon’s film You’re So Lucky inspires a shift in how we talk about adoption, a willingness to sit with contradiction, and an openness to stories that don’t fit neatly into gratitude because belonging is layered, and sometimes it takes a lifetime to understand where it lives.
I’m rallying support for You're So Lucky, a short cinematic documentary selected for the Gold House Renaissance Rally on Seed&Spark.
Let’s raise at least $5,000 in contributions during this Rally window (March 30 – April 29). We can do it!! There are no small donations, every dollar helps. Please share this link with family, friends, and support groups/circles.
Please fill out the information below before heading to Seed&Spark. This is how we track and verify every contribution toward our goal.
No payment is collected today. You'll complete your contribution directly on Seed&Spark once the campaign goes live on March 30.
Two adoptees. One story worth telling. Be part of it.
